This is a portrait of my family in Israel's Mabaarah. 

The year is 1950.  It is summer and my father is peeling an orange,

while I am imprisoned within a chair that has been turned upside down in

order to feed me. My mom was taking care of the mattress

within the tent to prepare for the night.
